Head Coach - John Harbaugh, 4th year
Harbaugh is the 3rd HC in Ravens history and took over after 10 years with PHI. He is the 1st NFL HC to win a playoff game in his 1st 3 seasons. His 36-19 record is 2 games behind IND (incl playoffs). BAL’s +30 TO margin in his tenure is the best in the NFL.
Offensive Coordinator - Cam Cameron, 4th year
Cameron was the HC for MIA in 2007 after being the Chargers OC from 2002-06. In his 8 years as an NFL OC he has 3 Top 10 finishes with a career low of 22nd coming in 2010. BAL has finished 9th, 16th and 11th in scoring under Cameron. He will also serve as the QB coach in 2011.
Running Backs - Wilbert Montgomery, 4th year
Montgomery worked for the Rams from 1997-2005 as a RB coach and TE coach. He was the Lions RB coach from 2006-’07 before joining the Ravens in 2008. BAL has had twelve 100 yd rushing efforts by a RB under Montgomery.
Wide Receivers - Jim Hostler, 4th year
Hostler worked as SF’s OC in 2007 after being the QB coach from 2005-’06. He was the Jets QB coach in 2003 and WR coach in 2004 after working as an asst for NO from 2001-’02. BAL has logged fourteen 100 yd receiving efforts with Hostler onboard.
Tight Ends - Wade Harman, 13th year
Harman is the last coach from BAL’s SB XXXV team. He has been the Ravens TE coach since 1999 and under his tutelage Todd Heap was 5th in TE receptions (451) and receiving yards (5286) from 2002-’10.
Offensive Line - Andy Moeller, 4th year
Moeller was the Ravens assistant OL coach from 2008-’10 after spending the 2002-’07 seasons as Michigan’s OL coach. BAL has earned 4.0, 4.7 and 3.8 ypc average with 109 sacks allowed or 1 every 13.2 pass attempts.
Defensive Coordinator - Chuck Pagano, 1st year (4th overall)
The Ravens continue their tradition of filling the DC spot by promoting from within. Pagano is a career DB/Secondary coach who headed up BAL’s secondary from 2008-’10. In that time BAL finished 2nd (‘08), tied for 8th (‘09) and 21st (‘10) in pass defense with a 56-67 ratio.
Defensive Line - Clarence Brooks, 7th year
Under Brooks the Ravens have allowed an avg of 87 ypg (3.5) rushing over the past 6 seasons. BAL went 39 straight games without allowing a 100 yd rusher and has only allowed 39 rushing TD’s (1 every 2.5 games) with Brooks.
Linebackers - Dean Pees, 2nd year
Pees worked for the Patriots from 2004-’09 and was their DC the from 2006-’09. NE allowed fewer than 20 ppg in his tenure. Under Pees BAL finished 3rd in points allowed for the 3rd straight year (16.9)
Secondary Coach - Teryl Austin, 1st year
Austin spent 2010 as the Florida Gators DC as they allowed 176 ypg passing with a 17-22 ratio. He has 7 years experience in the NFL as a secondary coach between ARZ (2007-’09) and SEA (2003-’06). His pass defenses have finished 22nd or lower 6 times with a #16 ranking being his best in the NFL.
Asst HC/Spec Tms Coordinator - Jerry Rosburg, 4th yr
Rosburg is a career special teams coach who joined CLE after 2 years with Notre Dame (1999-2000). He served as the Browns STC from 2001-’06 followed by a stint in ATL in 2007. He joined the Ravens in 2008. Overall his units have 4 Top 10 placements in our rankings.
